Our nominee for the Children’s Peace Prize

Shot and paralyzed by an Israeli soldier in the West Bank at the age of 12, Atta S. has become an advocate for children’s rights. He is especially interested in the right to education. Building on his training as a child human rights defender while a member of DCIP’s child-led protection teams, Atta now hopes to attend law school. DCIP is proud to nominate this courageous 17-year-old for the 2018 International Children’s Peace Prize.
